About the Course
48 Lessons · 4 Modules · CEFR A2 to B1 · 12 Months
The Pre-Intermediate English Course builds on elementary foundations and takes students to a level where they can express opinions, discuss real-world topics, and communicate in more complex everyday situations. Across 48 one-to-one online lessons and four structured modules, students develop grammar, extend vocabulary across a wide range of themes, and practise listening, reading, speaking, and writing in contexts that reflect real life.
Each module ends with a Review Test to confirm progress before moving on to the next stage.
Who This Course Is For
Year 8 and Year 9 students who have completed the Elementary English Course or who are at A2 level.
Adult learners at pre-intermediate level who want to progress toward B1 and independent communication.
Anyone who wants a structured bridge between beginner and intermediate English before progressing to the Intermediate course.

Talk about adventure experiences and use the present perfect to say what you have and haven't done.
Lesson 9 — Milestones
Discuss life events in sequence and describe important moments in someone's life.
Lesson 10 — Celebration Planning
Use planning vocabulary and future forms to organise a party or special event.

Read and write informal emails using the right tone, structure, and vocabulary.

Module 2 — Climate, Energy, Food, Fashion and Creative Writing
Lesson 13 — Our Changing Planet
Use global warming vocabulary and discuss the causes and effects of climate change.

Name renewable energy sources and discuss how they work and why they matter.
Lesson 15 — What's in Your Food?
Explore alternative food ingredients and discuss what we eat and why.
